Training our dogs to bite their toys

October 11, 2017

Something that often happens frequently and that no one likes, that unhealthy vice our animals have to bite everything they have around and shred it. It does not matter if they are our shoes, cushions, doors ... they sweep away everything they have at their fingertips. It's something that happens to you, right? Do not fear, because even if they have this vice, it can always be avoided.

Your dog can control this anxiety of biting everything he has to shot and leave in peace, finally, your personal objects. No more meeting up with broken things!

The most important part of all this process is to know the reason for these reactions that is none other than the need to vent. If they have not expended all their energies, they turn them towards the objects that have close to be able to take off that uneasiness, those surplus energies.

What does this mean? That you should show your dog the place where he can bite. How? With specialized toys for this. And we will begin by separating your toys from your things, so your belongings will not suffer any danger.

Do not think that this is going to be difficult, it will not be, you will see that it is very easy:

1. What you must do to control the situation is that your pet does a lot of exercise, and this way you will avoid most of the annoyances, why? Because he has exhausted that energy which is what makes him need to vent and bite the objects he has to shot. This way, you will be more relaxed by exercise.

2. To finish controlling the situation, you must provide special toys for the process, these are toys called rechargeable toys. They are very useful, inside you can find a treat, a prize every time they play and this will encourage them to always play with this and not with our belongings. You must teach him and make him understand that it is there where he must discharge.

You do not need anything else so your dog will not bite your stuff.

Exercise and be rewarded when you do what you owe. You do not have to worry about this anymore, your dog will immediately associate what he has to do.
